Originally started as a way to process intricate feelings in private, To Have & To Hold has become a journey towards hope and healing from the wounds inflicted by love or the lack thereof. Through this very personal poem collection, Daniéla Doralus unveils her deepest struggles as she wrestles with the tension that unanswered questions bring. As she untangles her emotions, she realizes the journey was the answer in and of itself.

Daniéla Doralus is a French artist of Haitian descent with a multifaceted approach to art. Poet, singer, songwriter, painter and interior designer, she seeks to create connection through beauty. To Have & To Hold is her first collection of poems, gathering her most vulnerable emotions around the complexity of love, desire, trauma and the courage to reconquer hope. Daniéla lives in the beautiful city of Paris with her dog Bucky.
