TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Scope of Services

The Paris Host provides:
- Travel consulting
- Personalized itinerary design
- Curated travel recommendations
- Maison&Objet and design-focused experiences
- On-site accompaniment when specified

The Paris Host is not a travel agency and does not sell travel services, transportation, accommodation, event tickets, or package holidays. Clients remain responsible for booking and paying for their own travel arrangements.

2. Discovery Calls

Discovery calls are intended to determine whether The Paris Host's services are suitable for the client's needs. No travel planning work will begin until a service agreement has been confirmed and payment has been received.

3. Fees & Payment

All prices are quoted in Euros (€). Full payment or a deposit may be required before work begins, depending on the service purchased.

Payment methods accepted: online payment via the website or bank transfer.

The Paris Host reserves the right to refuse work until payment has been received.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:
- Booking their own flights
- Booking their own accommodation
- Purchasing event tickets and admission badges
- Verifying passport, visa, insurance, and travel requirements
The Paris Host cannot be held responsible for travel disruptions, cancellations, supplier changes, transportation issues, weather conditions, or event modifications.

5. Recommendations

Recommendations are provided in good faith based on available information and personal expertise.However, The Paris Host cannot guarantee the availability, quality, pricing, or performance of third-party businesses, restaurants, hotels, suppliers, events, or service providers.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Custom itinerary work begins immediately after project confirmation. Due to the personalized nature of the services provided, completed consulting work and delivered itineraries are non-refundable.

For hosted experiences and on-site accompaniment: Whenever possible, cancellations made after work has begun may be converted into a credit toward a future service of equal value, valid for 12 months from the original booking date. This option is offered at the discretion of The Paris Host and is often preferred as a flexible alternative to a refund.

7. Intellectual Property

All itineraries, recommendations, guides, written materials, presentations, sourcing documents, and planning resources created by The Paris Host remain the intellectual property of The Paris Host. Materials are provided for personal use only and may not be copied, reproduced, resold, distributed, or published without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Paris Host shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its services. The maximum liability of The Paris Host shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service purchased.

9. Maison&Objet Disclaimer

The Paris Host is an independent business and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Maison&Objet, SAFI, Paris Design Week, or any related organization. References to these events are descriptive only.
