START IN THE HEART OF PARIS
We begin at Shakespeare & Company, one of Paris's most beloved independent bookstores and a historic meeting place for generations of writers, artists, and travelers from around the world.
From there, we'll make our way toward Notre-Dame, taking in the architecture, the Seine, and the layers of history that have shaped this part of the city.
THE ÎLE DE LA CITÉ
We'll explore the historic heart of Paris at a relaxed pace, with stops around:
Notre-Dame
See the cathedral from the outside and learn about its extraordinary history and rebirth.
Marché aux Fleurs
A charming little corner of the island and one of those places that makes Paris feel quaint and unique.
Conciergerie & Tour de l'Horloge
Discover the medieval and royal history of the Île de la Cité, including one of Paris's oldest public clocks.
Place Dauphine
A quieter, elegant square tucked away from the city's main tourist routes.
Pont Neuf & the Seine
Take in one of the most beautiful perspectives of central Paris before crossing toward the Île Saint-Louis.
ÎLE SAINT-LOUIS
Then we slow things down. We'll wander through the elegant streets and riverside lanes of the Île Saint-Louis, discovering historic hôtels particuliers, beautiful façades, hidden details, and the distinctly residential atmosphere of one of Paris's most charming neighborhoods. Depending on the group's pace, there may even be time for an optional stop for ice cream at Berthillon along the way.
END IN THE MARAIS
From the Île Saint-Louis, we'll make our way toward the Marais, finishing at the beautiful Place des Vosges.
And that's where the official experience ends.
You're then perfectly placed to continue exploring on your own: browse boutiques and galleries, stop for lunch or dinner, discover the neighborhood's architecture, or simply find a café and watch Paris go by.
